I'm Anēssa, pronounced Uh NES uh, and I'm a Travel RN originally from Iowa. Pediatric ICU + Pediatric CVICU are my specialties. I love the kids; their joy despite illness, their personalities, and their amazing resiliency.
I started my travel journey in the Fall of 2016, and it has been the most rewarding experience of my life. I wrote my first blog post in the Notes app of my iPhone days before my first shift, vowing to start a blog some day.
I hope to be a resource for other Travel RNs as I share my experiences/tips + tricks, and create a safe + uplifting space as I share my walk with healing, anxiety, vulnerability, and worthiness. I'll sprinkle in my amateur photography skills to tie it all together.
